Do you have a store? 

No at this time Great Lakes Ginseng is an online retailer only. We are also full time farmers so an online storefront allows us the flexibility to conduct both businesses.

Questions about shipping

Where do you ship to? 

We ship to both Canada and the US. 

 

How long does shipping take?

We use Canada post expedited shipping to ship our products. Typically this takes no more than 3 business days within Ontario, and no more that 6 business days nation wide. 

US shipping tends to be a little harder to predict, as custom clearance times at the borders range in time. 

 

Can I take my Great Lakes Ginseng product internationally? 

Yes. We offer Export permits free on all of our root orders. If you would like to take your ginseng with you internationally, please leave us a note with your order and we will include a permit. 

 

Questions about our products

Are your capsules vegan? 

Our capsules are filled with 100% ginseng (no fillers) and are enclosed in a capsule shell made of HPMC.

HPMC -- Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose -- is derived from vegetable cellulose. It is 100% natural, and contains no preservatives, gelatin, wheat, gluten, animal by-products or starch. Therefore our capsules are "vegan", and contain zero animal derivatives.
